My name is Alex. As a qualified chemist with a background in mycology, I have always been fascinated by the potential of blockchain technology. I began researching and learning about blockchain in 2017 while completing my Bachelor's degree in Spain, and have been actively investing and trading in cryptocurrencies ever since.
In 2019, I started working as a Quality Assurance Chemist in the UK, where I also began learning to program in JavaScript and Solidity through the Ivan on Tech Academy. This sparked my interest in smart contracts and decentralized finance (DeFi), leading me to go full-time into the cryptocurrency space and relocate to Portugal.
Since then, I have gained a deep understanding of various DeFi protocols such as Aave, dYdX, and Uniswap, and have produced educational videos in Spanish to help others learn about these platforms.
Currently I am an endorsed delegate for dYdX, a decentraliced perpetual contract exchange.
I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with others, and believe that blockchain technology has the potential to revolutionize the world in the same way the internet did.
